Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Participates in the Opening of “Nakhon Pathom Night Museum 2025”

On July 18, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phitakphong Pompranee, Vice President of Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyawan Pinkaeo, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, staff from the Office of Arts and Culture, faculty members, and students, participated in the opening ceremony of the “Nakhon Pathom Night Museum 2025” project. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Arocha Nantamontri, Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province, at the multipurpose ground in front of Phra Sila Khao, Phra Pathom Chedi, Nakhon Pathom. The event, held on July 18–19, 2025, was co-organized by the Office of Arts and Culture and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, NPRU, in collaboration with the Phra Pathom Chedi National Museum and Wat Phra Pathom Chedi Ratcha Wora Maha Viharn. The program aimed to promote the role of museums as centers of art and cultural learning, foster networks for cultural heritage conservation, and drive the creative economy in the local community. As part of the event, NPRU showcased creative performing arts with performances such as “Dance of Devotion to Phra Pathom” and “Dvaravati Heritage Performance” by students of the Performing Arts Program. In addition, the university organized seven cultural demonstration booths from various disciplines, including sculpture and printmaking, postcard painting, fabric tie-dye, digital art, Dvaravati-style cookies, and traditional Thai desserts, which attracted great interest from attendees.
