A Study of Dvaravati Arts and Culture in Nakhon Pathom Province for the Creation of Performances to Promote Tourism

On April 28, 2025, Mr. Thanasit Chomchid, a Young Researcher (Cohort 4) and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, presented his research project titled “A Study of Dvaravati Arts and Culture in Nakhon Pathom Province for the Creation of Performances to Promote Tourism” under the performance series “The Civilization of Dvaravati Archaeological Dance.” The project was supported by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
The event was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Phitakphong Pompranee, Vice President of Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, who delivered the welcoming remarks to distinguished experts from the NRCT, including Professor Emeritus Dr. Kanchana Ngaorungsee, Deputy Sompratana Suktawee, Mr. Somboon Wongkad, Dr. Orasuda Charoenrat, and Associate Professor Dr. Patthanan Hansapiromchok. These experts provided valuable suggestions for further developing the research so that its outcomes could be applied sustainably in cultural and tourism contexts.
