Songkran Festival Celebration 2025

On April 3, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Wirat Pinkaeo, President of Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Songkran Festival Celebration 2025, organized by the Office of Arts and Culture, held at the White Dome next to Building A2. The event was also attended by Associate Professor Dr. Piyawan Pinkaeo, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, together with administrators, faculty members, staff, and students, who participated in the activities in unison. The program featured a Buddhist ceremony, offering of lunch to monks, the water-pouring ritual for Buddha images, and the traditional Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony (pouring water to ask for blessings from administrators). These activities served as an expression of respect and reinforced cultural ties, reflecting the values of the Songkran tradition while promoting the preservation of Thailand’s cultural heritage. The event attracted significant participation from students and university personnel, creating an atmosphere of warmth, harmony, and festive joy during this year’s Songkran celebration.
