Workshop on Teaching and Research Skills Development

On June 24, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Duangjai Chanasit, Vice President of Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, presided over the Opening Ceremony of the Workshop on Teaching and Research Skills Development, organized by the Bachelor of Education Program in English, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Piyawan Pinkaeo, Dean of the Faculty, together with Associate Professor Dr. Pranee Seenak, Associate Dean, faculty members, and staff. The workshop took place at Meeting Room 3/3, Siriworapanya Building, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, during June 24–25, 2025.
The workshop featured two key themes:
• Use of Multimodality in Language and Literacy Instruction
• Action Research in Classrooms
Distinguished speakers included Prof. Dr. Mary B. McVee from the University at Buffalo, New York, USA, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prakasit Sithitthikul, Acting Dean of the School of Multilingual Studies and General Education, Walailak University, who shared both theoretical and practical insights.
The program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of teachers, educational personnel, alumni, lecturers, and students in English language teaching and classroom research. It emphasized the application of modern learning approaches aligned with the digital era, through interactive workshops and case study analyses, to strengthen teaching competencies and contribute to sustainable educational quality. Participants included representatives from secondary education service areas as well as faculty members from higher education institutions.
