On March 31, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Piyawan Pinkaeo, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, together with Associate Professor Dr. Pranee Seenak, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, presided over the opening ceremony of the Training Program for the Development and Enhancement of English Teaching Quality for Local Teachers, organized by the Business English Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University.
The training program, consisting of 30 instructional hours, was held from March 31 to April 4, 2025, at the Samut Sakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office, Samut Sakhon Province. Its objective was to enhance English teaching techniques to meet learners’ needs in the context of today’s economic and social changes. The program emphasized the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—along with English lesson planning, the use of technology in instruction, and approaches to assessment and evaluation. A total of 38 teachers under the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) in Samut Sakhon participated in the training.
On the first day, Ms. Arlene De Castro Bobadilla, the workshop lecturer, delivered practical knowledge on teaching techniques for English listening and speaking. Participants expressed keen interest and actively engaged in the activities with great enthusiasm.
